Guests Module
Now you can enable your automatic precheck-in form emails on a per Rental basis! The reminder to your guests to fill the form will only be sent for the bookings of the Rentals you select! Also, there are 4 customization rules below that have been moved to a per Rental basis too.
Booking View
You probably know that notes may contain sensitive information. This is why you probably are hiding them from people on your team who don't need that information. We have gone one step further. Now, notes that contain such sensitive information won't be shown unless the user has access to the type of information the note contains. For example, the precheck-in form filled information won't be shown in the notes unless the user has permission to see client details. Something similar happens with the typical notes from the channels such as Airbnb or booking.com. If the note contains information about the booking breakdown, the user won't see it unless that permission is enabled.
Booking payments
Some users were able to see booking payment details although the permission was off for them.
Precheck-in form details
In the booking view, users without permission to see client details were able to see the button to see the precheck-in form view, with the details of the guest if the form was filled. Now users need permission to see client details to be able to access that view.
Booking View
We have added a super handy new feature! You can now view the timeline of only a booking! This way, you can keep track of the changes to that booking. It is the same timeline you have in your home menu, but filtered for that booking.
Tasks Module
We have fixed a bug in the Jobs Calendar of the website. In the event of having a job that was assigned to a role, in which nobody from your team was in it, that job was not showing in the calendar.
Billing
We fixed a bug where the number of rentals was not updated correctly in Stripe at the time of the change. It was done afterwards, but we want this to happen at the time you add or remove a rental from your account.
Accounting
We have added a new field in the Recipients' setup page. Now you can add information which will appear in the footer of the invoices issued by that Recipient. You can include any information you want, such as the bank account to pay to, or anything else.
Accounting Module
We have improved the accounting payments view as well as its related pdf download! Now everything is grouped by rental! We have improved also the styling of the pdf view and we have re-designed the invoices! Now they look much nicer.
Guest Portal
We have improved the home page of the Guest Portal. Now your super nice images of your rental will be displayed first, at the top, in a banner in which images swap automatically. We have moved the "Traveling to a remote destination?" section to the settings area. In there, your guests will be able to know how to download the Guests App and log into it.
Bookings List
The "hide canceled" filter in the bookings list was not working well. We have fixed that.
Timeline
Timeline job events were not correctly filtered and users could see jobs not assigned to them, but couldn't access to them. We have solved that as well as another problem which was happening when filtering by job events only. It was not possible to scroll down the list to see more events.
Synchronization
For Smily users, in certain and particular situations, the amount of active rentals was not properly synchronized, considering the deleted rentals. We have improved that part of the code to make it more resilient.
New User Interface (not yet available)
A new User Interface for the website! And it will come with some new functionalities! It’s not built yet, we have been working on it for the past 3 months, but soon it will be live! We will keep you posted! Stay tuned!
Task Module (Mobile)
It was not possible to create manual jobs for a booking outside the check-in/out dates from the Mobile App. We have solved that.
Guests PreCheck-in Form
We are now saving the language used by the guest to fill the form.
Rentals United
We are live in Rentals United! We are still making some tests, but soon we will send an emailing campaign to announce it properly!
Mobile App Chat
We fixed some issues issues and we made some improvements with the Mobile App’s chat.
Task Module
We made some frontend fixes in the website view. When editing a job created from a scheduled job, the UI was sometimes slow or being stuck.
Invoices
There was a bug when trying to download some Rental Ninja services invoices. It was related to invoices with discount. Now it’s solved.
Accounting
Due to a change in one of our service providers, we discovered a bug when trying to download pdf payment attachments.
Accounting: Recurring Income
As advanced last week, we are launching a new feature: recurring income strategies! Previously, in a Recipient’s strategy, you could add recurring expenses, but not recurring income. You can now do it! We have merged both things into “recurring items”. Check our documentation out for more info.
Internal improvements
We have added more internal tests to avoid errors reaching the production environment.
Booking Tags
We solved a bug that was preventing certain teams to create a new booking tag.

We fixed an issue where we were returning an incorrect users list when trying to assign a scheduled job to a user.

We have just released a brand new feature this week! You can now attach videos to tasks! Not only pictures, also videos!
